Set on 42 acres of wooded ground, only a 10-minute walk from centre of Cork city, UCC was established in 1845 after a long campaign for a higher education institution in Munster. UCC is proud to be ranked in the top 2% of universities in the world, and now has a student population of over 21,000.
#ELOcork will be hosted across a number of buildings on UCC’s campus, all of which are within close proximity.
Conference sessions will take place between the O’Rahilly Building (No. 62, Grid G6) and Kane Building (No. 48, Grid E6), while the Exhibition will be hosted by the Glucksman Gallery (No. 54, Grid G5). Keynotes will take place in Boole III of the Boole Theatre Complex, what is locally known as the “Boole Basement” (No. 10, Grid F6), with the Aula Maxima (No. 07, Grid F5) reserved for opening and closing receptions.
